In the shelter’s words

Meet Victor! If you&#39re looking for a loyal companion who&#39s happiest simply being by your side, Victor may be your perfect match! This handsome brindle was born, we believe, in 2016, weighs around 70 pounds, and has all the wonderful qualities that make senior dogs so special--he&#39s calm, well-mannered, and ready to spend his golden years with a family to call his own. Victor is completely house trained, has excellent leash manners, and is an absolute pleasure to take on leisurely walks. He&#39s a low-energy boy who enjoys a relaxed lifestyle and would thrive in a quiet home where he can soak up all the love and companionship you have to offer. Whether you&#39re reading a book, watching TV, or working from home, Victor is content just being close to his favorite people. He&#39s quite the gentleman and even loves showing off his impressive list of tricks! Ask him for a shake, high five, or down, and he&#39ll happily demonstrate just how smart he is. Victor would be content as the only pet in the home, but he is also non-reactive to other dogs and cats in his foster home. While he enjoys wandering around a fenced yard and taking in all the interesting sights and smells, a yard isn&#39t required. His easygoing nature and low exercise needs make him a wonderful candidate for a town home or apartment, provided he gets his daily walks. Victor can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but once you&#39ve earned his trust, you&#39ll discover an incredibly devoted companion who forms deep, lasting bonds. He would be an especially wonderful fit for retirees or someone who is home often and looking for a faithful friend to share life&#39s quieter moments. Victor is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If youre interested in adopting this special boy, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.
