In the shelter’s words
Meet Maggy!Maggy is a sweet girl with a tender heart and a story that makes her even more deserving of a loving home. She was rescued after being abandoned and left to fend for herself in the place she once knew as home. Understandably, she was a little shy and unsure after being rescued and relocated. But once Maggy realized she was safe, she adjusted beautifully! Since coming into our care, she has blossomed into the sweetest girl who absolutely loves attention. She enjoys being held, soaking up affection, and getting all the chin scratches she can handle. And there’s one sure way to win Maggy’s heart: wet food! It’s her absolute favorite!Maggy has already shown us just how loving and trusting she can be. Now she’s looking for a forever family who will give her the safety, love, and affection she deserves. If you’re looking for a sweet cuddle bug with a big heart (and a love for wet food!), Maggy may be the perfect girl for you!PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT: ***ALL ANIMALS ARE CURRENTLY IN LONG BEACH, MISSISSIPPI.*** We transport adopted animals every 2-3 weeks to Northeast states. For this reason, we ask each person interested in adopting to complete an application. The application requests information about the potential family including their home and occupants, as well as requests a vet references. If you do not have a vet reference, please email photos of your home (and yard-if you are adopting a dog) to adoptions@forpetssakerescue.org after completing an application. Local Gulf Coast Adopters: You must complete an application to proceed. We have a private facility. We will schedule a Meet and Greet with you once your application has been approved. We reserve the right to refuse an adoption. We know these animals on a personal level and make judgement calls with their best interest at heart. Out of State Adopters: Complete an application, include a government issued photo ID with current address or an article of mail going to your current address in your name. We will not begin the application process without proper identification on file. Once approved, we will contact you to review pet information, personality, transport dates and locations.
