In the shelter’s words
DOB: 4/17/2023 Meet Bunny, a sweet and gentle girl who is every bit as soft and lovable as her name suggests! This beautiful gray tabby was found as a stray in Worthington, but she’s more than ready to leave her days on the streets behind and settle into a cozy home of her own. Bunny can be a little shy when meeting new people, but don’t let her reserved nature fool you. Underneath that cautious exterior is an incredibly affectionate girl who just needs a little encouragement to show her sweet side. The secret to winning her heart? Ear scratches! Give her a few gentle scratches behind those adorable ears, and you’ll quickly discover why one of our volunteers described her as a “total lover!” With her velvety-soft fur and tender personality, Bunny really does live up to her name. She’s as soft as a bunny and as gentle as one, too! She doesn’t need to be the center of attention or make a big fuss. She’s simply a loving little lady who appreciates kindness, affection, and someone willing to let her get comfortable at her own pace. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle companion who will reward a little patience with plenty of love, Bunny might just be your perfect match. Come meet me at Pet Supplies -Carriage Place at Sawmill and Bethel Roads!! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. **If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.**

We have an application that requires the potential adopter to wait until their application can be verified. Once everything checks out the adopter comes and picks up their new fur member of the family and signs a contract. One of the highlights of our contract states that if for ANY reason at ANY time they cannot care for the animal, they must return the cat or dog back to Colony Cats (& dogs). Our adoption fees are $125 for kittens 6 months and younger; $75 for kittens over 6 months and adults up to 7 years; $50 for 7 years and older. If adopting 2 kittens/cats at the same time there is a $25 discount. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, Feline Leukemia and FIV tested (cats), heartworm tested (dogs), microchip, flea prevention, vaccinations (FVRCP for cats and DHLPP for dogs), rabies vaccine (if kittens or puppies are old enough to receive a rabies vaccine). If not, the new owner will need to go to their vet to get this done.
