In the shelter’s words
Alright, community — Minnow needs an only-dog place to land. Whether that’s a foster home while she waits for forever, or her forever home itself, we’d love to find it. ❤️ We know rescue is overflowing. You can find just about every breed, size, color and personality imaginable needing a home right now. But dogs with management needs are not less worthy — and that’s where we are with Minnow. Minnow needs to be the only dog, and she still needs patience and consistency with potty training. We know that isn’t the easiest combination to place, and dogs like her often wait longer because of it. She IS safe in foster, but there are multiple dogs in the home, so she has to rotate. We’d love to find someone with no other dogs who can give her more one-on-one time and an easier routine while she waits for forever — unless, of course, that foster home turns out to be forever. And honestly, the only-dog life has some pretty good perks right now. ✨ ONE food bill ✨ ONE vet bill ✨ ONE dog to board when you travel ✨ ONE set of preventatives & supplies ✨ And one 25-lb spitfire getting ALL your attention After five months with the family she thought was forever, Minnow is starting over. We’d really love to make this transition as easy as possible for her. Minnow: ~3 years | ~25 lbs | spayed | vaccinated | microchipped | dental complete | funny, loyal & full of attitude. She still needs help with potty training, and we’ll provide a pen to make management easier and keep accidents contained. We’ll support her foster or adopter every step of the way. NO OTHER DOGS? MINNOW COULD USE YOU — FOSTER OR FOREVER. Las Vegas Apply: https://www.animalhelpalliance.org/forms/form?formid=4358 SHARES ARE SOOOOO IMPORTANT. She may not fit your home, but she could be exactly right for someone you know. We adopt out of state, but Minnow is too big to fly. Please read our pinned out-of-state post before applying. #minnowaha #fosteringsaveslives #lasvegasdogs #bullylove #rescuedog

Plan a visit with the source organization
We require a two week trial adoption prior to finalizing the adoption. All potential adopters must fill out an adoption application and agree to a home check. During the home check we make sure the house and yard are safe and secure and appropriate for the dog/cat. There must be a meet between the dog/cat and any other pets in the home. If the applicant is renting we contact the landlord to find out about any pet restrictions. During the trial period we will provide sessions with a dog trainer if needed. After the trial period the applicant signs our adoption contract which requires them to provide a safe home, medical care, and to treat their new pet as a member of the family. Dogs and cats are not to be outside pets. If for any reason the adoption does not work out they must return the dog/cat to us. All dogs/cats placed are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed/neutered (which is also the law here)
