In the shelter’s words

Meet Sassy, the delightful 40lb female dog who embodies both maternal warmth and a playful spirit! Sassy is not just a loving companion but also a wonderful mama dog who takes pride in caring for those around her. Sassy's nurturing nature shines through as she has proven to be a fantastic mother, showing love and attentiveness to her little ones. Despite her caring demeanor, Sassy has a unique and endearing trait – she will flash an adorable smile if she senses she might be in a bit of trouble. It's a heartwarming display of her personality that adds a touch of charm to her character. This dog-friendly beauty is not just a great mama but also a social butterfly when it comes to her fellow canines. Sassy's friendly disposition makes her a joy to be around, creating harmonious relationships with other dogs. Whether it's playtime in the yard or a leisurely walk with her furry friends, Sassy is always up for a good time. Weighing in at 40lb, Sassy is the perfect size for cuddles and companionship. Her affectionate nature extends beyond her role as a mama, making her an ideal addition to any loving home. The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet. All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age. Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed.
