In the shelter’s words

Meet Cody! Cody is a calm, distinguished gentleman looking for a cozy place to land. He found himself in rescue through no fault of his own after his owner sadly passed away. After the shelter determined he was independent enough to be rehomed separately from the other two dogs in his previous household, Cody came into our care—and now he’s ready for a quiet fresh start. Cody is a low-key guy who knows what he likes: peace, quiet, and good company. While he can have a bit of a grumpy side when things get too busy around him, he is ultimately a chill soul who just wants a predictable, relaxing environment where he can lounge and unwind with his people. Here’s what you need to know about Cody: Calm & Chill: He is happiest when he can just hang out, relax, and go with the flow of a quiet home. Dog Tolerant: He gets along fine with other well-behaved, calm pups, but he is also completely content being your one and only. Walk Enthusiast: While he loves his downtime, Cody still enjoys getting out for a nice, pleasant walk to stretch his legs. Ideal Home: He is looking for a tranquil environment without the hustle and bustle of small children, making an adult-only home (or one with older teens) his perfect match. If you have a quiet home and a spot on the couch for a sweet, low-maintenance companion, Cody would love to be your new best friend. Apply to adopt Cody today!Adoption Fee $395
