In the shelter’s words
Georgia is a smart, affectionate girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. As she's settled into foster care, she's become more loving every day and is starting to show just how deeply she bonds with her people.Georgia is still a young dog who missed out on learning the basics, so she's looking for a family that's excited to help her become the amazing companion she's meant to be. She's energetic, eager to interact, and would thrive with someone who has the time and patience to work on training and help channel her enthusiasm. With consistency and positive reinforcement, she's sure to make great progress. She would do best in an active home where she gets plenty of exercise, structure, and one-on-one attention. A confident medium or large canine companion could be a great match for her playful energy.Because Georgia has a very strong prey drive, she needs a home without cats or other small animals.Georgia isn't looking for a perfect family—she's looking for the right one. Someone who sees past her rough edges and recognizes the loyal, loving dog she's becoming. If you're ready to invest a little time and training, you'll gain a devoted best friend who will reward you with endless love.
