Meet Sasha! DOB: October 2025Weight: 42lbsDisposition: Quiet, gentle, thoughtfulHistory: Sasha was abandoned along a rural road and brought into rescue, where she's been waiting patiently for someone to see what a wonderful companion she can be. She's a quieter girl who likes to take her time observing the world around her, and now she's ready for a family of her own.Amazing Qualities: Sasha has a sweet, thoughtful personality and a funny little habit of sitting in a chair and watching everything going on around her. She's the kind of dog who likes to take in her surroundings before deciding whether she'd like to join the action. She enjoys going outside to play and has a playful side that comes out once she's ready. She's also wonderfully observant. Sasha isn't necessarily the dog demanding to be the center of attention, but she's always nearby, quietly taking everything in and becoming more comfortable with the people she trusts.Best Home: Sasha would do well with a loving family who appreciates a dog with a calmer, more independent personality. She gets along with dogs and children and enjoys having the opportunity to go outside and play. She'd be happy in a home where she can have a comfortable spot to relax, people to observe, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy life at her own pace. Once she feels at home, Sasha will be a sweet, loyal companion who is happy simply being part of the family.Interested in adopting? If you're interested in meeting this dog, please visit our website to fill out an adoption application: www.thebarkinglot.net/adopt. Our goal is to find the right match for each pooch based on lifestyle, energy level, exercise regime, environment and living situation. To ensure we find a great match for each pup, the process includes: 1) Filling out an Adoption Application. 2) a play date with your furry friend, 3) a home check of the potential adopter, 4) an adoption contract, 5) an adoption fee. The adoption fees include spay/neuter, up-to-date shots, rabies vaccination, microchip & microchip registration, de-worming and the benefit of getting a pooch who has been living in a stable and loving environment. Dogs are fostered in our homes to create the same type of environment into which each will be adopted. We strive to meet each pup's needs in terms of exercise, socialization and basic manners, including potty training.
