In the shelter’s words

Meet Hallow — A Little Magic Waiting to Bloom! Some little pumpkins just need a little extra time to shine, and Hallow is one of them. At about 3 years old, this beautiful brown tabby and white girl has a gentle soul and a quieter kind of magic. With her lovely markings and sweet, shy nature, Hallow is the kind of kitty who may take a little time to warm up, but underneath that cautious exterior is a friendly girl just waiting to feel safe and loved. Hallow isn't looking for a loud, busy household or a life full of commotion. She's dreaming of a peaceful place where she can settle in at her own pace, find her favorite cozy spot, and discover that the world isn't such a scary place after all. Her ideal family will understand that the best friendships aren't always instant. They'll give her patience, gentle affection, and the time she needs to come out of her shell without any pressure. With a little kindness and a lot of love, Hallow may just cast a spell on your heart! Hallow's happily-ever-after home:A quiet, calm environment where she can feel safe.A patient adopter who will let her build trust at her own pace.Cozy hiding spots, comfy naps, and plenty of time to settle in.Someone who understands that shy kitties deserve just as much love and a chance to shine.Hallow may not be the first to run up and greet you, but sometimes the most special connections are the ones that take a little time to grow. She deserves a home where she can blossom into the confident, comfortable kitty she's meant to be.Could you be the missing piece of Hallow's happily ever after? Give this sweet little autumn girl a chance, and let a little Halloween magic into your home! All she needs is a safe place to land, a little patience, and someone to call her own.If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $75.
