In the shelter’s words
Hi everyone! My name is Pepé Le Pew but feel free to call me Pepé…we can save the full moniker for when I’m getting into mischief :) I’m a debonair little dude born in June 2025 and was saved from the streets by some kind animal lovers. I’m told my tuxedo coat is quite handsome, plus it’s accented by a cool white heart on my chest for extra flair! I may be a little shy in new places but will warm up and enjoy attention when I get comfy, I also love playing with the other fun young kitties in my foster home while waiting for a forever family to find me :) The cat adoption fee is $120 (or $190 for two cats). Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Clear Lake Petco (2410 Bay Area Blvd, Houston 77058). If interested in one of our cats please feel free to complete an application, found on our website www.secondchancepets.org, and email it to us at pets2adopt@yahoo.com for pre-review.

Potential adopters must complete an application and SCP volunteers can help adopters identify cats and dogs that will fit best in their homes. SCP adoption counselors review the applications, conduct in-person interviews and discuss pet care responsibilities with potential adopters. SCP checks applicants' vet references and may conduct a home visit at its discretion. So that the best interests of the pet are served, SCP reserves the right to refuse an adoption to anyone. The adoption fees are $110 for cats ($175 for two cats), $190 for dogs and $245 for puppies.
