In the shelter’s words

COURTESY POST Adoption Donation: $550 Location: MS (Transportation to the Northeast included in adoption donation.) Age: Approx 5 mos. old (as of 10/3/26) Weight: Approx 42 lbs. Meet Tucker! Are you looking for a handsome, smart, and incredibly loving new family member? Meet Tucker, a gorgeous Golden Retriever mix who is ready to steal your heart! Tucker is the perfect blend of playful energy and gentle sweetness. Tucker’s Personality & Traits: * Social & Friendly: Tucker absolutely loves playing with his foster siblings and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and kids. (He hasn't been tested around cats yet). * Playful & Active: If you have a ball or a toy, you’ll have a friend for life! He thrives on chasing toys and exploring his surroundings with a joyful, curious spirit. * Brainy & Eager to Please: Tucker is super smart and picks up on new things incredibly fast. He is currently working hard on his house-training and is making great progress! * Gentle & Loving: At the end of the day, his affectionate and gentle nature shines through. He is a true sweetheart. The Perfect Home: Tucker would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can safely chase balls to his heart's content. However, we are absolutely open to considering a home without a fence for the right family who is committed to keeping him active and exercised! Tucker is already neutered, fully up to date on his vaccines, and completely ready to start his next chapter. Could your home be his happily ever after?
