In the shelter’s words

Hi! I&#39m a female, 6-year-old domestic shorthair with an adorable white-with-black &#34cow cat&#34 coat--but please don&#39t let my age fool you. Inside, I&#39m still very much a kitten, complete with joyful zoomies, a love of toys, and plenty of playful mischief. My life hasn&#39t always been easy. I came to Wild Blue from a hoarding situation while pregnant, then lovingly raised four kittens of my own. I spent so much of my life being a devoted mama, and now I&#39m finally ready for something I&#39ve waited a long time to have: a family who will take care of me. These days, I&#39m making up for lost kitten time! I race through the house several times a day, pounce on my toys, and carry my favorites to my foster mom like little gifts. When playtime is over, I&#39m all about love. I&#39m friendly, affectionate, and equipped with a purr so loud you&#39ll never have to wonder if I&#39m happy. At night, I curl up right beside my foster mom, because after years of caring for others, being close to someone who loves me feels pretty wonderful. I get along well with the cats in my foster home, and one of my favorite games is racing around and playing chase with a feline friend. I tolerate the family dog, but my dream home is calm and peaceful, without small children or energetic dogs. Teenagers are just fine with me--especially if they&#39re ready to play, cuddle, and admire my cow-cat cuteness. When I arrived, severe dental disease had left my mouth very painful. I needed all but my two lower canine teeth removed, and what a difference it made! I&#39m now comfortable, happy, and free to enjoy life without that constant pain. Since I have very few teeth, I mostly eat pate-style wet food, although every now and then I sneak a little of the other cats&#39 dry food--because a playful girl has to keep everyone guessing. I&#39m spayed, fully vaccinated, and more than ready to trade my years of motherhood for cozy beds, playful days, bedtime cuddles, and all the pampering my heart can hold. I may be six, but my spirit is young, my zoomies are fast, and I have so much love left to give. I spent a lifetime caring for kittens. Could you be the person who finally gives me a forever home--and lets me be the cherished baby for once?
