I move through the world with intention: a polished strut, a thoughtful pause, a glance that says I've noticed you noticed me. My feathers catch the light just right, and my presence has a way of making a place feel more complete. I'm confident, yes-but it's a quiet confidence, softened by a gentle heart. I enjoy the rhythm of the day, the warmth of the sun, and the comfort of a home where I'm respected and safe. I'm not here to cause a ruckus-I'm here to bring character, calm, and a little everyday magic. If you're looking for more than just a rooster-if you're looking for a companion with soul, style, and unmistakable charm-then I might just be the one you've been waiting for. The SPCA strongly encourages Adoption Holds to ensure I will be waiting to meet you when you arrive. To make an Adoption Hold, please call 831-373-2631. The Adoption Center is open to meet me without an Adoption Hold, however you may need to wait for an adoption time to become available and I may already be adopted. 1. Visit the SPCA at 1002 Monterey-Salinas Highway across from Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. 2. Visit with the pet you are interested in adopting to see if his personality fits your lifestyle. If you are adopting a dog, you can meet him in one of our new dog condo rooms or play in one of our play yards. 3. Complete family introductions (every member of the family living in the house with the animal must meet and visit with the animal prior to adoption to ensure a happy fit for everyone). 4. If you are adopting a new dog and already have one at home, our animal care staff will assist you with introducing your current dog to the dog you are hoping to adopt to ensure a good match. 5. The SPCA adoption process takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. All paperwork, vaccination records, and microchip information will be provided at this time. Adoption fees range from $20 to $290. 6. Take your new lifelong family member home!
