In the shelter’s words

Waylon is a sweet, gentle soul searching for the forever home he deserves. This handsome boy loves the simple things in life peaceful walks where he can stop and sniff, relaxing by your side, and enjoying a comfortable place to rest. Waylon is incredibly easy to love because of his calm and affectionate nature. He has a low-energy personality, rarely barks, and is happiest spending quality time with his people. He is crate trained, comes when called, knows the "sit" command, and takes treats and food very gently. He also has excellent house manners and respects boundaries, only getting on furniture when invited. Waylon would thrive in a loving home that appreciates a laid-back companion. Whether you're relaxing at home, enjoying a quiet evening, or taking a leisurely stroll, Waylon will be happy just being with you. He is looking for a family that can provide him with a comfortable indoor life, plenty of love, and a cozy spot to call his own. Medical Information: You may notice that Waylon's eyes look a little different. He was evaluated by a veterinary ophthalmologist at Animal Eye Clinic and was diagnosed with dry eye. This condition is easily managed with daily eye drops, and he does very well with his treatment. Other than that, Waylon is a happy, healthy boy ready to find his forever family.
