Meet JuneBug! JuneBug is a 7 month old (as of Sept.) black (with tabby stripes you can see in the sun) kitten that was found dumped on the side of the road in a cooler with a blanket in it. He came into our care when Good Samaritans drove past him at dusk and saw him come out of the cooler, and drove back to get him.Despite his sad beginning, JuneBug is a silly, happy-go-lucky guy. He loves to lay and wriggle around into silly poses in his bed, climb into her hammock, and play with his toys. He is very affectionate and loving and will come to you as soon as you enter a room. He gets along well with other cats, and very much enjoys their company - especially Oreo Blizzard. We can't say enough about his purrsonality! He would need to be adopted with another kitten, hopefully Oreo Blizzard or one one of the other Ice Cream Socialite kittens who he loves to play with. There is a $40 discount when adopting 2.JuneBug is ready to go to his forever home with an approved application. His best fit in a home would be a home with a single parent, couple, or family with kids over 5 years old. He is dewormed, had an FVRCP vaccine and a booster, a rabies vaccine, combo tested, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. Once adoption application is approved and references checked, an adoption contract is signed. For all Shrinking Violets - not fully socialized cats - the adoption fee is $25. Requirements of adoption: may not declaw, if for any reason it doesn't work out the cat MUST come back to our organization. The cat's new, adoptive home must be an indoor only one in a quiet, low activity home, with older children. Must take to vet w/in 10 days.
