In the shelter’s words
Hello, I'm Luna. I love to observe the world around me. The rustling of a paper bag, the soft hum of the refrigerator, these are the mysteries that I love to explore. I'm smart too, figuring out puzzles and finding the best sunny spots. I cherish my independence, but I also crave companionship. I dream of a home where I can be myself, where I can explore, learn, and love. If you're looking for a friend who is as curious about life as you are, I could be the cat for you. Adopt me, and together, we can make a world of our own. Special Needs: As they say, you don't have to brush your teeth, just the ones you want to keep! Sadly, my previous owners didn't heed that advice, and now I am missing quite a few teeth. I'm doing ok, though. I would just prefer wet food when I go home with you.

Plan a visit with the source organization
1. Visit the SPCA at 1002 Monterey-Salinas Highway across from Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. 2. Visit with the pet you are interested in adopting to see if his personality fits your lifestyle. If you are adopting a dog, you can meet him in one of our new dog condo rooms or play in one of our play yards. 3. Complete family introductions (every member of the family living in the house with the animal must meet and visit with the animal prior to adoption to ensure a happy fit for everyone). 4. If you are adopting a new dog and already have one at home, our animal care staff will assist you with introducing your current dog to the dog you are hoping to adopt to ensure a good match. 5. The SPCA adoption process takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. All paperwork, vaccination records, and microchip information will be provided at this time. Adoption fees range from $20 to $290. 6. Take your new lifelong family member home!
