In the shelter’s words
Meet Winnie! Winnie is a young, high-energy German Shepherd mix who brings endless enthusiasm and joy to every day! This spirited girl loves being outside and can play for hours on end — whether it’s running, fetching, or just exploring the yard, she’s always ready for adventure. She’s a tough-play kind of girl and prefers her hard toys over stuffed ones (they hold up much better to her zoomies and enthusiastic chewing!). Winnie really likes other dogs and enjoys playful interactions, so she’d love a home where she can have a furry friend to wrestle and chase with. If you’re an active family or couple who enjoys spending lots of time outdoors and wants a fun, energetic companion who’s always up for a game, Winnie might be the perfect match! Come meet this playful, high-spirited girl — applications are welcome! Visitors to the shelter are by appointment only and after a form has been submitted online: https://www.marshmallowfoundation.org/forms/

Marshmallow Animal Shelter wants to make certain that every animal adopted goes to a loving home where it will be well cared. Because of this, our application asks a number of detailed questions, which are necessary for our screening process. Our application will ask you to what lengths you are willing to go, in order to accommodate the animal's needs and training. You must be able to show commitment of time, finances, energy and compassion to the animal. Once your application is approved, we require that you sign a contract guaranteeing non-transferal/sale of animal, its proper care, and spay/neuter surgery if not already done.
