In the shelter’s words
Meet Gavin! This fun-loving boy and his siblings came into rescue after an accidental litter, and now he’s ready to find a family of his very own! Gavin is a happy, playful pup with a goofy personality and a love for adventure. He’s smart, obedient, and a quick learner who is eager to please. He already walks wonderfully on a leash and has been a star at adoption events, showing off his great manners and friendly personality! Gavin is still a big puppy, so he’ll need continued training, patience, and guidance as he grows. He’s ready to learn, play, and fill his future family’s life with lots of love and laughter. He has never been in a home, and needs actual patience to allow him to learn. We are unsure how big he will get when full grown. We are guessing between 50-60lbs. Gavin is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Adoption Fee: $300 To apply, visit www.adoggie4you.org. Gavin is currently located in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. We are unable to transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.

Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella and heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped. Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.
