In the shelter’s words
This is a courtesy post. Please do not contact Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue for information. Contact information is provided in the description below. This sweet 2-year old tuxedo bully mix was rescued by a kind person. She had a minor paw injury and was taken to the vet, where she was scanned for a microchip (didn't have one), treated for her paw injury, and given a rabies shot. She was reported to animal control as well as on social media, but no one claimed her.She has not yet been spayed, but is scheduled to be spayed on November 3. She is very sweet, but her prey drive towards the rescurer's chickens and small dog is not a good fit for her to stay with the rescuer. She needs to be the only animal in the home. She is housebroken, knows some basic commands, and walks well on a leash. If you are interested in this pretty girl, please email alexiscamille17@gmail.com

Plan a visit with the source organization
An application is required and once it is processed and approved we will set up a time for the adopter to meet the pet, if the pet is finished with their vetting then we can finalize adoption or put the pet on hold and let the adopter know when the pet is ready. When we finalize adoption, the adopter will need to sign an adoption contract and a health disclaimer. We do ask that if the adopter decides that it is not working out that they bring the dog back to us so we can make sure the animal will go into a good home.
