In the shelter’s words
Hi, I'm Mamacita! I'm a gentle, sweet-natured lady looking for a quiet home where I can enjoy the love and comfort I deserve. After raising my puppies and making sure they got a great start in life, it's finally my turn to find a forever family of my own. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but once I feel comfortable, my affectionate and friendly personality begins to shine. I'm well-mannered, easygoing, and happiest when I can relax and spend time with the people I love. Because I enjoy a calm environment, I would do best in a quieter home without too much commotion. I'd be perfectly happy as the only pet, soaking up all the attention, or in a home with respectful companions who appreciate a peaceful lifestyle. If you're looking for a loyal friend with a gentle heart, I'd love the chance to meet you. Come visit me at M'Shoogy's and see if we're the perfect match

We want to meet you and make sure we are making the right match for your situation as well as for the animal. Email or call us about which animal you are considering and we can make an appointment for you and the animal to meet. Visit the Adoption Information page at www.mshoogys.org to fill out our adoption application and email it to one of our volunteers. You can also print a copy, fill it out, and bring it with you to M'Shoogy's during our hours of operation, which are Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please note that if you are applying to adopt a dog, we usually require that you have a fenced-in yard except in special situations. The cost to adopt includes shots and the cost of spaying/neutering. If you are adopting a dog we also ask that you purchase 6 months of heartworm preventative. It is sold by weight. If you check around, you'll find it is the lowest cost adoption service in the area.
