In the shelter’s words
Meet Butterbean – a gentle Catahoula sweetheart with a calm, loving soul. Butterbean is a beautiful Catahoula Leopard Dog born in September 2019, and he is just as sweet as his name suggests. He has a soft, easygoing personality and a heart full of love. Butterbean isn’t high-strung or demanding—he’s the kind of dog who enjoys a peaceful environment and meaningful companionship. He does well with a relaxed routine and would love a home where he can stretch out, nap, and enjoy being part of someone’s day. Butterbean likes to take leisurely walks, explore at his own pace, and then settle in to relax. He’s not over-the-top energetic—he’s more of a steady, calm presence kind of guy. Butterbean is affectionate, gentle, loves to give hugs, & is quietly loving. He would thrive in a home where he can feel safe, secure, and adored. Whether you’re looking for a foster to give him a break from the shelter or a forever family to call his own, Butterbean is ready to blossom with just a little love and patience. If you’re searching for a loyal companion with a sweet nature and soulful eyes, Butterbean might just be your perfect match..... Catahoula Leopard Dog.... Sweet & gentle..... Calm, easygoing personality.... Foster or adopter needed Butterbean is waiting patiently for his chance to go home.
