In the shelter’s words
Zee is a stunning young medium-hair black pantherette with a silky coat and huge golden eyes. Pure mystery wrapped in velvet. Still learning that humans can be kind, she had minimal early contact, so people feel big and scary. Yet she's endlessly curious—loving to perch high and watch everything like her own nature documentary. Other cats fascinate her with zero aggression shown. **Comfort levels:** - No petting or picking up yet (too overwhelming). - Starting to peek out for Churu and wand toys—progress! - Might blossom with a gentle feline friend. Zee needs a calm, adult-only or quiet home with hiding spots, high perches, and zero pressure. Let her set the pace—one slow blink at a time. One day this elegant shadow will choose you: a midnight sniff, a head bump, then pillow privileges. Earn her trust and watch a feral-hearted beauty bloom on her own timeline. For the patient soul who knows love is spelled T-I-M-E Visitors to the shelter are by appointment only and after a form has been submitted online: https://www.marshmallowfoundation.org/forms/

Marshmallow Animal Shelter wants to make certain that every animal adopted goes to a loving home where it will be well cared. Because of this, our application asks a number of detailed questions, which are necessary for our screening process. Our application will ask you to what lengths you are willing to go, in order to accommodate the animal's needs and training. You must be able to show commitment of time, finances, energy and compassion to the animal. Once your application is approved, we require that you sign a contract guaranteeing non-transferal/sale of animal, its proper care, and spay/neuter surgery if not already done.
