In the shelter’s words
Introducing Bugsy, an adorable 27 pound, 6-month-old Shepherd mix with the most stunning ice-blue eyes you've ever seen! Bugsy is an incredibly sweet, friendly, and playful boy who loves making new furry friends! He enjoys playing with other dogs and absolutely LOVES his toys. He's also great at entertaining himself, whether it's tossing around his favorite toy or happily chewing on a good stick! Bugsy's a smart cookie? He knows "sit", and his love for treats makes him eager to learn new things! He's also doing amazing with his puppy manners! He's making great progress with potty training and rarely has accidents as long as he gets regular potty breaks. Even better? He sleeps through the entire night in his crate like a little champ! Bugsy is the perfect mix of brains, beauty, sweetness, and puppy playfulness! He's at such a fun age and is ready to keep learning, growing, and making wonderful memories with his forever family. ❤️ If you're looking for a loyal companion, a playful sidekick, and a whole lot of puppy love, Bugsy might just be your perfect match! Let's help this blue-eyed sweetheart find the forever home he deserves! Available for adoption 10/31. Fenced in yard required for off leash playtime. Requires an active, friendly companion dog in his forever home. Adoption fee $600.

When someone inquires on one of our dogs, we request completion of the adoption application. The application is reviewed and approved or denied. Meets are scheduled for approved adopters either at the foster parents home or adopters home. If the decision to adopt is made at that time but the animal is not ready (spay/neuter pending) a deposit is taken to hold the dog until ready for adoption. At the time of the adoption, the agreement is signed, education is provided, first month of heartworm and flea prevention is given, and payment/remaining payment taken. All of our dogs receive a physical exam, spay/neuter, vaccinations appropriate for age, dewormer, heart worm test (if over 6 mo of age) & microchip prior to adoption. The adoption fee ranges from $250 to $400. With an approved application, a 50% non-refundable deposit may be provided to hold a dog until all vetting is complete. Home visits and vet references will be performed prior to adoption. Fenced yards and single family homes are required for most of our dogs.
