In the shelter’s words
Meet Aspen! Aspen is a spirited, curious adventurer who treats the world like his personal playground. Whether he is chasing sparkly balls, dashing through tunnels, or showing off his acrobatic skills with the wand toy, his energy is utterly infectious. When playtime winds down, his affectionate side takes center stage, as he transforms into a purring cuddle bug who loves nothing more than being held, petted, and showered with attention. Aspen's true superpower is his hilarious and impressive ability to climb anything just to be near you—even shimmying right up your leg to deliver a series of delightfully bossy meows until you give him the love he knows he deserves. To thrive, Aspen needs an active household with people who have plenty of love and engagement to offer. He would do wonderfully in a home with older children who understand and respect his boundaries. Because he is so social, Aspen’s forever home must have another feline playmate. Or, better yet, adopted alongside one of his beloved siblings, Koa, Willow, or Ash! He also gets along great with dogs, making him a versatile addition to a bustling family. If you are looking for an outgoing, talkative, and endlessly entertaining best friend to climb right into your heart, Aspen is ready to fill your life with love, laughter, and lifelong companionship. Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or
