She may be a bit shy when you first meet her but give her a little time and she’ll soon show you just how loving she can be. Marlene enjoys being near her favorite people, lounging on the couch, and relaxing on her cozy dog bed. She also has a soft spot for her stuffed hedgehog and enjoys a little backyard sniffari. She’s the kind of girl who makes quiet moments feel extra special, and once she feels safe, her sweet personality really shines!Marlene gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids! She’s been a lovely housemate to the dogs in her foster home, though she prefers peaceful companionship over rowdy playdates. She’s happiest relaxing alongside her furry friends or wandering around the yard with them. Her foster family’s two cats have barely caught her attention - she’s perfectly content to let them do their own thing! Marlene has a low-key lifestyle and doesn’t need tons of exercise to be happy. A calm home with kind people who appreciate a quieter companion would be right up her alley. She may take a little time to feel comfortable in new situations, but with patience and reassurance, she’ll continue to blossom.Marlene Bear is already a wonderful housemate with some great skills! She’s fully house-trained, crate-trained, and settles nicely into her daily routine. She’s comfortable spending a few hours in her crate and is generally an easygoing girl who enjoys the simple things in life. She’s still building confidence with leash walking, especially in unfamiliar places, where she can become frightened and try to retreat. She’ll need a patient family who can help her feel safe, move at her own pace, and build confidence through gentle encouragement. In return, you’ll get a loyal, loving companion who’s ready to share quiet evenings, cozy cuddles, and all the little joys of everyday life. This sweet soul will make any house feel more like home with her constant companionship and cozy cuddles. Who would say no to that? Come meet this gentle girl and instantly fall in love. Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted.
