In the shelter’s words
Meet Maverick — the Handsome, Playful, Cool-as-Ice Tabby Boy! Say hello to Maverick, a 1-year-old gray tabby male who is the definition of a cool cat. This handsome young guy has a gentle spirit, a playful streak, and a calm, soulful presence that makes him truly special. Maverick loves hanging out with the other cats in his foster home and gets along wonderfully with the small dogs too. Playtime is his jam—whether he’s batting around toys, racing with his feline buddies, or showing off his absolute favorite trick: fetching. Yes, you read that right! Toss a toy mouse, and Maverick will proudly bring it right back to you like a tiny, whiskered retriever. He’s not the bold, in-your-face type of cat—Maverick is soft, sweet, and subtly charming. He’s the kind of kitty whose depth sneaks up on you… the more time you spend with him, the more you fall in love with his thoughtful eyes, easygoing nature, and gentle soul. If you’re looking for a fun, lovable, and truly unique companion, Maverick might just be the perfect match. If interested, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.
