In the shelter’s words

Please visit our website at https://tarasdream.org/adopt to fill out an adoption application for this pet and for more info about our adoption process. Miss Winifred – Female | Black & White. Affectionate, playful, and full of love! Winifred is an incredibly sweet little girl who loves showing affection. She's known for rubbing her face against your hands, giving little kisses, and happily soaking up attention. She's also an enthusiastic player who enjoys toys, chasing her siblings, and exploring her surroundings. Winifred has a wonderful balance of playful kitten energy and genuine affection. She's the kind of kitten who enjoys being involved in whatever her people are doing. Ideal home: Winifred would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for an affectionate, interactive kitten. She would do well with a family that enjoys both playtime and cuddles. A Little About Their Upbringing These kittens have been loved and cared for since they were very young. They were regularly handled and socialized before coming into full-time foster care. When their mother became ill, we took over their daily care and have continued raising them as members of our family. Our goal has always been to prepare them for happy, successful lives in their forever homes. A few important things about their upbringing: Socialization: All have been raised around people and regularly handled by children ages 10 and older. Other animals: All five have experience around other cats and dogs and have generally been comfortable with both. Litter training: All five have demonstrated excellent litter box habits, including when exploring unfamiliar areas of the house. Handling: They are accustomed to being picked up, held, petted, and loved. Play: They enjoy interactive toys, climbing, exploring, and playing together. Positive reinforcement: They've been raised with gentle redirection rather than punishment. We encourage their future families to continue using positive, patient training methods. Approximate Birthday: 05/31/2026 Adoption Fee: $ 100.00 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, FIV/FeLV test, and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption. Because we do not know the background of many of our cats, we cannot guarantee exact age or breed. Adoption centers may not have a volunteer present to open the cat enclosures, and we have foster homes located throughout the KC metro area. Please fill out an application if you'd like to meet this cat. Interested in this pet? Please fill out a non-binding application. Our goal is to find life-long matches between animals and families, and the application provides us with a lot of information to help us help you find that match!
