Junipurr (Juni) – A Shy Sweetheart with So Much Love to Give Hi there! My name is Junipurr, but you can call me Juni! I'm a sweet, gentle girl with stunning green eyes and a whole lot of love to give. I just need a little time to feel comfortable enough to show you. I was rescued from a feral cat colony in Fresno, and I've come a long way since then! I can be a little shy when meeting new people, so I appreciate a gentle approach and a little patience while I get to know you. Once I feel comfortable, my sweet, affectionate personality comes shining through. I absolutely adore pets and attention, and I have so much love to give! I'm a sensitive girl, so unfamiliar sounds and sudden movements can send me looking for a good hiding spot. And trust me, I'm a professional hider! But with a little patience, some tasty treats, and gentle encouragement, I'll come out to say hello. Once I know I'm safe, my affectionate side really shines. I'm not a particularly high-energy kitty. I'd much rather curl up on your lap or settle into a cozy spot nearby and enjoy your company. I love rubbing my face against you, weaving around your legs, and soaking up all the pets I can get. When I'm feeling especially comfortable, I might even rub my face against yours and give you a few sweet kisses! I'll come when you call my name or pat your lap, too. Did I mention I'm a purring machine? I purr constantly when I'm happy, and I make the sweetest little trills and chirps to let you know how I'm feeling. My dream home would be a calm, quiet place where I can be your one and only kitty. I'd love a patient, understanding person who will give me the time I need to settle in. I also have some skin sensitivities, so I'm on a special novel protein diet that helps keep me comfortable and healthy. Concerned about me being FIV+? Don't be—there's lots of helpful information out there to put your mind at ease. I can live a long, healthy life, meow. All of our adopters are required to fill out an online application. Once we review the application, we contact the applicant to do a phone interview, and a zoom call to meet and learn more about the cat with the foster parent to determine if it's a good fit for everyone. Then the potential adopter can meet the cat in person and take them home if approved through this process. We have them sign an adoption agreement and pay $150 adoption fee.
