Meet Maggie, a 5-month-old tan and black short haired Shepherd mix who is currently taking applications for her forever subordinates also known as family! Maggie is basically 90 percent ears and 10 percent pure potential. Her ears are currently having a fierce internal debate: one minute they are floppy and sweet, and the next, they are sticking high up like satellite dishes trying to pick up alien radio signals or the exact sound of a cheese wrapper opening from three rooms away. She currently weighs 20 pounds and is expected to be a medium-size dog once fully grown, weighing between 30 and 60 pounds.Maggie is a shy girl with a sweet personality. Maggie is the ultimate team player, getting along with both children and other dogs. Maggie has not been introduced to cats so it is unknown how she will be with them.Maggie is in the peak sponge phase of life, which means her house, leash, and crate training are all actively in progress. Adopting a puppy like Maggie means committing to the rewarding, slightly chaotic responsibility ofteaching her how to be a good canine citizen. It involves early morning potty alarms, consistent positive reinforcement, and accepting that quiet may mean she is remodeling a shoe.
