In the shelter’s words
This sweet girl is ready to steal hearts and hit the trails. Sheba is a 39-pound Shar-Pei with soft fur, warm eyes, and the kind of easygoing personality that makes her a true "turn-key" companion. On leash, Sheba is a dream — she walks politely without pulling, so she's a joy to take on hikes or neighborhood strolls. She already knows her basic commands, takes treats with the gentlest mouth you'll ever feel, and settles right into car rides like she's done it a hundred times. Sheba is incredibly social — she loves playing with other big dogs and warms up to new people instantly, no slow introductions needed. She'd thrive with an active family who wants an adventure buddy, or in a home with a fellow dog to romp around with. She would do best with a dog her size or larger....tiny dogs (and likely cats) seem to trigger her. She's spayed, microchipped, and fully up to date on vaccines — ready to go home and start her next chapter. If you're looking for a low-drama, high-love companion who's ready to hit the ground running, Sheba might just be your perfect match! She is fostering in the Santa Maria, CA area.
