In the shelter’s words

I’m a soft soul who’s learning to trust and love again. I originally was brought to HSVC as a stray and was adopted briefly but didn’t get along with the small dog in the home, so I’d prefer to be the only pup where I can feel safe and settle in. New situations make me a little unsure, but patience goes a long way with me. Once I feel comfortable, I’ll be your quiet shadow, the one who sticks close, listens, and cherishes those calm moments together. If you believe the best things are worth waiting for, I’m ready to begin that journey with you.
