In the shelter’s words
Some dogs just have a special way of stealing everyone's hearts, and Dolly is one of them! This adorable 9-year-old Chihuahua is one of our all-time favorites, and it's easy to see why! She's sweet, easygoing, and has mastered the art of enjoying life's simple pleasuresâa delicious meal, a cozy place to relax, and a little love from her favorite humans. At just 8 pounds, she's the perfect pint-sized companion! Don't let her age fool you! Dolly still has a playful side, especially when she's around other dogs. She's dog-friendly, easy to handle, and has a wonderful low-to-medium energy level. She's just as happy having a little fun with her furry friends as she is relaxing quietly in her kennel. Dolly would make a wonderful companion for a senior looking for a loyal little friend or a quieter household with older children. Make an appointment to meet this sweetie at yoloshelter.org/dogs, or email adopt@yoloshelter.org.After nine years of giving the world her sweetness, isn't it time you gave Dolly the happy-ever-after she deserves?

Adopters fill out a 2-page questionnaire, interview with a staff person, and pay the adoption fee. We are in the process of transitioning to "open adoptions" with few formalized requirements. The full adoption fees are approximately $160 for dogs and $110 for cats, but we have regular 'specials'.
