In the shelter’s words

Meet Bobby Jay, a handsome boy with a unique story and so much love to give! Bobby Jay came from an unusual situation that kept him from experiencing the world outside his home. After a previous litter of puppies on the property contracted parvovirus, his owner was concerned about the contaminated ground and kept Bobby Jay indoors his entire life. Sadly, he never had the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors or all the wonderful things life has to offer. When his owner attempted to surrender him to the pound, one of our wonderful rescue partners stepped in and gave him a second chance. Despite his limited experiences, Bobby Jay is an incredibly friendly boy. He gets along wonderfully with people and other dogs, making him a delightful companion. This handsome Lab mix has the most gorgeous eyes and an equally beautiful personality. He is sweet, calm, and easygoing, with a laid-back nature that makes him a joy to be around. He would especially appreciate a peaceful, quiet home where he can feel safe, loved, and cherished.
