In the shelter’s words
Meet Lord – Royal Name, Playful Personality! He may have a royal title, but don't let the name fool you! Lord is anything but prim and proper! This sweet, playful young gentleman is more interested in chasing toys and causing a little mischief than sitting on a throne. Lord is the undisputed ruler of playtime! Feather wands, toys, jumping, tumbling… you name it, he's ready for action! Even his sister knows better than to challenge him when he's in full play mode! When he's not ruling the playroom, you'll find him perched high atop his cat tree, practicing his impressive kitty yoga moves, or rolling around on the floor. And while he enjoys his independence, he's also a sweetheart who loves pets, will happily climb into your lap when the mood strikes, and may even grace you with his presence at the foot of your bed. Every Lord needs his Dame! Lord is bonded with his sister, Dame, and these two royal siblings must be adopted together! They may not always behave like proper royalty, but they're a perfectly matched pair who deserve to share their forever kingdom. Lord isn't looking for a fancy castle, just a forever home filled with love, playtime, and someone willing to answer the occasional “Yes, m'lord!”In return, he promises endless entertainment, plenty of affection, and a face that's simply impossible to resist.Ready to welcome double the royalty into your home? Lord and Dame are waiting for their happily ever after!

Plan a visit with the source organization
Want to find a special someone to join your family? You've come to the right place. Adopt locally with us for the benefit of our community. All you need to do is fill out an adoption form and we will find a purrfect match for your family. All of our rescues are: examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated up to date, all cats are FIV/FELV tested, dogs are Heartworm tested if age appropriate, dewormed, spayed/neutered when age appropriate and treated with flea/tick product, if needed. They also are all microchipped when they are spayed/neutered. Once an application is completed & approved to move forward - we would set up a time for you to come and meet them in their foster home where they are comfortable. If everyone feels it is a good match for everyone, we would then schedule a home visit (required) prior to adoption. We also require a non refundable deposit of $50 per pet prior to a home visit. (To be applied toward adoption donation.) Adoption Fees* (Cats): $135 for a cat/kitten Adoption Fees* (Dogs): $500 for a puppy (under 1 year of age) $400 for an adult dog *There may be a special rate for adopting a bonded pair! Ask us for details!
