Courtesy Listing Disclaimer: The cats listed on this page are posted as a courtesy to their current owners or fosters seeking new homes. For the Love of Cats does not guarantee the accuracy of any information provided, including temperament, medical history, or background. All inquiries, screenings, and adoption arrangements must be made directly with the owner or current caregiver of the cat listed. Meet Buddy – An Independent Cat for an Experienced Home Buddy was found abandoned in a parking lot and hopped right into his rescuer’s car, ready for a new chapter. He’s confident, smart, and very independent. Buddy enjoys wand toys, laser play, scratching posts, treats, and even some safe outdoor access like a patio. He’ll approach for attention and allow petting or being picked up - but always on his terms. Buddy has a strong, assertive personality and needs an experienced cat owner who understands boundaries. He would do best as the only pet in a quiet, adult-only home with someone who respects his space while still giving him enrichment and attention. He is not recommended for homes with children, other cats, or lots of activity. Buddy can be sweet and engaging in the right environment—he just needs the right match.
