In the shelter’s words

Meet Buddy! ❤️ If you're looking for a loyal adventure buddy with a heart of gold, Buddy is ready to meet you! This handsome tripod has never let life slow him down. He greets each day with a wagging tail, an eager nose, and excitement for whatever adventure comes next. Buddy may only have three legs, but don't tell him that! He loves exploring local parks, sniffing every interesting scent, and taking in the world around him. Whether it's a leisurely hike, a neighborhood stroll, or a car ride to somewhere new, Buddy is always up for tagging along. When the adventures are over, Buddy is all about the simple things in life—a comfy spot to relax, a favorite chew bone, and spending time with his people. He has a sweet, affectionate personality and truly enjoys meeting new friends. Once he's had some fun, he's more than happy to settle in for a well-earned nap by your side. Buddy has overcome more than most dogs ever should, and his resilience is nothing short of amazing. Today, he's thriving as a tripod and doesn't let his missing leg define him. He gets around beautifully and is proof that sometimes the biggest hearts belong to those who have overcome the toughest journeys. Buddy is looking for his one dedicated person, in a dog-savvy, low-traffic home where he can continue to build confidence with a predictable routine. In addition, he has a strong prey drive, so he would do best as the only pet, allowing him to soak up all the love and attention he deserves. Buddy has spent far too long waiting for someone to see just how special he is. He's not looking for perfection—just one person to call his own. If you're searching for a loyal companion, an adventure partner, and a best friend who will love you with his whole heart, Buddy is ready to start his next chapter with you. After waiting so long, isn't it Buddy's turn to finally go home? ❤️
