In the shelter’s words
Meet Rose Your Cool Cat Companion!Rose is your friend’s cool mom—the kind who cracks jokes, keeps up with the kids, and still manages to look effortlessly fabulous. This fun-loving feline used to adore playing with her kittens and will happily run around the house—zooming up and down the cat tree, chasing her favorite toys, and leaving everyone else in the dust. Her superpower? Definitely The Flash —she’s that fast! While she’s enjoyed life with other cats, Rose is 100% content to fly solo. She’s an independent lady who marches to the beat of her own purr. She could live with kittens, but would truly prefer to be the only feline in your life. She’s not clingy, but she loves being nearby—especially if her human is chill, calm, and respectful of her space. Rose prefers a quiet home without too much chaos—loud noises and surprise movements? Not her thing. She should be the fastest-moving thing in the house, thank you very much. She’d do best with older kids who understand boundaries and would be a dream roommate for someone who wants a relaxed, affectionate, and sometimes silly little sidekick. This young mama has already raised her crew and is ready for the next chapter—training for a 5k (in her dreams), chasing toy mice, lounging on the highest perch of her cat tree, and soaking up quiet moments with her favorite human. Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or
