In the shelter’s words

Meet Gus Gus is a 5-year-old petite black beauty with striking green eyes and an even more striking heart. Though she may be tiny for her age, what she lacks in size she makes up for in sweetness. Gus is incredibly snuggly, friendly, and affectionate—she’s the kind of cat who loves to curl up close and soak in all the love she can get. After being unfairly thrown out on the street, Gus has shown nothing but resilience and trust. She’s ready to leave her hard past behind and is searching for a furever home where she can feel safe, cherished, and adored—just as she deserves. Gus would thrive in a home where she can enjoy cozy naps, gentle affection, and a lifetime of love. If you’re looking for a loyal little companion with a soft soul and a big heart, Gus is ready to give you all of hers. Gus is from a stray surrender with his brother. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
