In the shelter’s words
Meet Heathcliff - A Handsome, Playful Boy with a Big Personality!Heathcliff is a gorgeous young adult classic tabby with a charming personality and just the right amount of mischief! This sweet boy was rescued by a kindhearted lady who took him in and cared for him until Heartland had room to welcome him.Heathcliff is a friendly, social, and affectionate kitty who loves attention and being petted by his humans. He’s also a playful, fun-loving guy who can be downright silly with his antics! He has a mischievous streak, but it’s all part of his irresistible charm. Give him some yummy food, catnip, and plenty of love, and he’s one happy boy!Heathcliff has been around children and does well with them, although he can get a little rambunctious during playtime, so a home with older kids would be best. He also seems to do fine with other cats once properly introduced, though he may be a little hissy and grumpy while getting acquainted. If you’re looking for a handsome, affectionate companion who will keep you entertained, make you laugh, and shower you with love, Heathcliff just might be your perfect match!

the first step in our process is an application. The questions on the application are designed to determine if the pet would be a good fit in this home. We contact the applicants veterinarian to verify they have a good history of previous (or current) pet care. We meet the applicant at Petsmart or at their home to allow them to interact with the pet they are interested in adopting. If all goes well the adoption is finalized. We have an adoption contract, requiring regular vet care, indoor homes, return to us if it doesnt work out, etc. Our dog adoption fee is $175, cats range from $80 for older cats to $125 for kittens
