In the shelter’s words

Meet Wendy — a curious, playful, and absolutely blossoming young girl who has been on quite the journey and come out the other side more wonderful than ever. Once upon a time this sweet girl was a little on the shy side, but those days are long gone. Wendy has fully come into her own, and what emerged from that shell is a cat so full of personality, playfulness, and charm that you simply cannot help but fall completely in love with her. Wendy's transformation has been nothing short of remarkable. The girl who once held back now dives headfirst into life with curiosity, confidence, and an enthusiasm that is truly contagious. She is living proof that sometimes the best things just need a little time to bloom — and bloom she absolutely has. When it comes to playtime, Wendy is not here to mess around. Hand her a wand toy and she will go full acrobat. Bring out the laser pointer and prepare for the most athletic and committed performance you have ever witnessed. And toy mice? Wendy has a particular and deeply satisfying approach to those — she will hunt them, catch them, and systematically relieve them of every bit of their fuzzy exterior. She means business and she is very, very good at it. Speaking of business — have you seen this girl climb? Wendy is an absolutely amazing climber who treats vertical space like her personal playground. Cat towers, shelves, the highest point in any room — Wendy has already scoped it out, claimed it, and is surveying her kingdom from above with the quiet pride of a seasoned explorer. Her curiosity drives her to investigate every corner, every new space, and every unknown with wide eyes and an adventurous spirit that is endlessly entertaining to watch. But Wendy isn't all zoomies and conquest. This girl has a soft and tender side that comes out beautifully at the end of a long day of adventures. She loves napping in bed, sleeping close to her favorite people, and curling up near her beloved feline companion. She has impeccable kitty manners, is wonderfully respectful of her environment, and is not destructive in the slightest — making her an absolute dream to live with. On quiet afternoons you'll find Wendy doing one of her favorite gentle activities — gazing out the window at the world going by, or playing with a string toy in that focused, meditative way that only cats can pull off. She is a cat of many dimensions and every single one of them is wonderful. Wendy absolutely loves other cats and needs a friendly feline companion to share her life with. She has shared a beautiful bond with her kitty mate Clarice, and thrives with a confident and social cat friend by her side. She brings out the best in her feline companions and they bring out the best in her. Wendy is a great fit for: ✅ Homes with at least one friendly and social cat (required!) ✅ Cat lovers who appreciate an active and playful companion ✅ Homes with cat trees, climbing spaces, and window views ✅ Anyone who loves a cat with a curious and adventurous spirit ✅ Families looking for a well-mannered and non-destructive kitty ✅ People who love watching a cat truly thrive and flourish Wendy came out of her shell and never looked back — now she's ready to bring all of that blossomed, beautiful energy into a forever home that will love her just as fiercely as she loves life. Come meet this incredible girl today. Adoption fee includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventative, sterilized, microchip Adoption fee: $200.00
