This is courtesy post for a family in Grove City who has a momma cat with two 5-6 month old kittens living in their neighborhood. All three cats are sweet and friendly. The kittens have been adopted. Only Ravage, the mom, still needs a home. The family TNRed the kitties, so they are all are spayed/neutered but they want to find them homes with winter coming. They have recently moved them all inside the house. Ravage (momma cat) 1-1.5 yo dilute tortie female. She showed up outside of the family's home skinny and with kittens. She was trapped and spayed, has had her vaccines, is FIV and Feline Leukemia negative, microchipped, and treated preventatively for fleas/dewormed. She is very sweet and food motivated. She loves to play and lay in boxes filled with toys. She seems to do well with other cats as long as they give her a little space. She will let people pick her up and hold her for a minute or two. Adoption application. We check references and call vet. There is a $75 adoption fee, but all of our cats are sterilized, vaccinated, and tested for feline leukemia/FIV prior to adoption. We do not adopt to anyone who wants to declaw, but we do not advertise that fact until after the person fills out the application--we do not want them to lie to us if they know they cannot get the cat and declaw. We have them sign an agreement that the cat will come back to us if for any reason they do not want it.
