MILEE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Milee Best Guess for Breed: Lab mix Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of October 2026 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 45 pounds as of October 2026 Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area foster home - Check out Milee's adventures in her foster home on her instagram Highlight Reel! Watch Milee playing with friends at the dog park! Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. Milee is shy and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog who will help with that socialization process. Milee is Looking For: Milee along with her siblings Milady, Marvin, and Melvin, are all satos from Puerto Rico. They came into our care so they could get their own human families in the DC area. Milee is a wonderful sweet young pup who is eager to walk through the world with all the confidence of a well-loved pup! She hasn't seen enough of it yet and needs extra loving and patient adopters who will give her experiences in new places and with new people at her pace. A welcoming resident dog will help build her braves as well. Above all, she wants to be safe and loved, to know where she belongs. She has so much love and loyal companionship to give in return. What do you say? Can you see her by your side? What My Foster Says About Me: Milee is a super sweet girl who has really started coming out of her shell as she is getting comfortable in a house. She is shy around new people at first, but gets very excited when she sees people she knows. She's great on a leash and doesn't pull at all on walks. She loves her crate and sleeps in her crate at night. Her potty training is going very well. She's good with other dogs, and did great at the dog park. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckydog .
