In the shelter’s words
Tucker is a charming, affectionate boy with a gentle spirit and an easygoing personality. Although he's about 5+ years old, he still has plenty of kitten-like playfulness and loves chasing his favorite toys. When playtime is over, you'll often find him happily relaxing by an open, screened window, quietly watching the birds and taking in the world outside. Tucker may be a little shy when meeting someone new, but he warms up quickly and soon becomes a loving companion. He enjoys spending time with his people and thrives on affection and attention, so he's looking for a home where his family has time to interact with him and appreciate what a sweet boy he is. Tucker and Timothy are adorable together! Even though Tucker is a mellow six-year-old, and Timothy is a bouncy one-year-old they’ve become the sweetest buddies. They play, hang out together and keep each other company, and would make such a wonderful pair to bring home together. They don’t have to be adopted together but if you’re looking for a bonded pair, Tucker and Timothy might be the perfect match. With his relaxed nature, Tucker would do well as either an only cat or with a compatible feline friend. If you're looking for a loving, playful companion who will happily share both playtime and peaceful moments, Tucker may be the perfect match for you. He would prefer a quiet lifestyle, so easy-going children over 12 years may be OK. He is not living with a dog, so he probably would enjoy a feline household. We estimate Tucker was born on October 1, 2020. Kitty Bio #PH3930-Tu. ▶️ scroll down for clip If you're interested in adopting Tucker, Timothy, or another of our cats, please fill out our adoption questionnaire at icraeastbay.org/adopt/how-to.

Potential adopters pick out a cat or kitten and fill out an application. There will be a short interview with one of our volunteers. Adoptions do not happen same day. We will arrange a time to visit your home and the foster parents and a volunteer will meet there. Our adoption fee structure is: Cats and kittens (under 8 years): $100 Cats (over 8 years): $75 Two cats adopted together: Full amount of the higher fee, half the amount of the lower or same fee. For example: a kitten and a cat (under 8) would be $100.00 + 50.00 = $150.00 We require that all cats be kept indoor only. We have an adoption contract.
