In the shelter’s words
Hi, I’m Rosette, and I’m looking for my very own special person. I’m an older girl, and life has changed a lot for me. I came to rescue with my brother after our beloved owner passed away. Losing the person I loved was very hard, so I’ll admit that I can be a little unsure when meeting new people. I need some time to trust you and feel safe. Please don’t rush me — let me get to know you at my own pace. But once I trust you, I’m your girl. That’s when you’ll get to see the sweet, loving girl I really am. I absolutely love attention and would happily spend my days curled up on your lap, soaking up affection. And if you want to dress me up and make me feel pretty, even better! I’m a girl who knows how to enjoy the finer things in life. I’m also good with other dogs and have a calm, easygoing personality. I’m not a hyper girl looking for nonstop action. I’d much rather relax with my favorite person and enjoy the comfort of a peaceful home. My future family will need to understand that earning my trust is a process, but I promise it is so worth it. Once I know you’re my person, I have so much love to give. My bloodwork has been done and everything came back normal. I’m spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. I may not be the girl who runs up and greets you like we’ve known each other forever, but give me a little time, a little patience, and a lot of love, and I’ll give you something even better — a devoted little girl who knows you are her safe place. Adoption Fee: $200 Apply today at www.adoggie4you.org. If adopted with Milky Way, adoption fee as bonded pair $350. Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella and heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped. Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.
