In the shelter’s words
Sammi was found weak and abandoned on the side of the road with an abnormality of her left eye. Despite how she ended up here, she is loving and forgiving. Sammi will approach you to rub against your side, enjoys playing with toys, and loves lounging in sun puddles. At 11 years old with a permanent half-wink, we worry she may face a long shelter stay despite her gentle demeanor. She was sleeping just before this photo, but chirped and got up to give me some head butts.
