In the shelter’s words
MEET MIA! If you’re looking for a sweet, playful girl with a BIG personality, Mia might be your perfect match! Mia loves to chat and chirp with her foster parents —she always has something to say! She’s a playful girl with the most beautiful golden eyes that will melt your heart. When Mia was rescued, she had a hernia that has thankfully been successfully repaired , and she is now ready to find her forever home. Mia loves to snuggle up and lay with her foster parents and enjoys getting lots of pets… but on HER terms, of course! She’s an independent girl who knows what she likes and isn’t afraid to let you know. Mia would do best as the ONLY CAT in her forever home , where she can be the center of attention and get all the love she deserves. Pepsi was born around May 31, 2026, and is currently being fostered in Naugatuck. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org. Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.

Plan a visit with the source organization
Visit our website to fill out an application either on-line or download a form (fill it out and email it back to us). This will start the adoption process. All applicants must provide references including a vet (please give them permission to speak to us). Note that we do not place our pets in homes with children under 5, this protects the children and our pets. Once references are checked a home visit will be scheduled and then a meet and greet with the pet.
