A WONDERFUL COMPANION: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 46 lbs. & needs to gain a little weight Hi, I'm Salvatore! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am in a wonderful foster home now, just waiting for my furever family to find me—maybe it's you! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I like the dogs I've met at Mostly Mutts and enjoy playing with the dog in my foster home too. I am a little vocal when I play, so if you have a nice dog at home already that sounds like we would enjoy each other, let's meet! / In my foster home, I’m good with their cat who I pretty much just ignore. All cats are different, so I'm not sure how I would do with another kitty. / I haven't met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a handsome, sweet, affectionate and friendly boy with a happy, fun-loving personality and a talent for giving hugs! My foster says I am “such a sweet boy, super smart, and super loving!” I also have the cutest little prance when I'm feeling happy and have a calmer side too. I'm a lovely pup with a wonderful disposition and good manners, and I was absolutely heavenly in the bathtub—sweet, gentle, and perfectly behaved! I'm a happy boy who loves people and has plenty of affection to share. / Energy level: 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the 'sit', 'stay', 'come', 'leave it' and 'place' commands and I look forward to learning more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / My crate manners were good at Mostly Mutts, however in my foster I don’t like being in my crate and have broken out of it, so a family that is home a lot and has a lot of time to give me would be best! / My potty manners have been very good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I like playing with toys, having fun with my dog friends, and spending time with the nice volunteers! I'm always happy to have some fun and enjoy some attention. I'm sure we’ll discover lots more things we like doing together in our new home! / As mentioned above, I don’t like being in my crate or being left alone. I would much rather be with my people. Like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. I'm a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful family! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following: Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care. We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot. The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org. Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family! Adoption Info: Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only. Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email. Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family. We do require an interview, references and a contract. Must be 21 or over to adopt.
