In the shelter’s words
Hi my name is Gerald, I was found as a stray fending for myself in Ocala. Turns out I'm quite friendly and quite the character. I had a pretty messed up tail when I arrived at Sheltering Hands, but now I'm a wannabe Manx with a little ball of a tail. I absolutely love it when you rub my cheeks and pet my head. Here's the catch, when I've had enough I will pull away and let you know (that sometimes means a nip). I tolerate most other cats, but would also be great as the only guy in the house. I need a home who's willing to play with me and make me chase and jump and catch my pretend prey. I need to release my extra energy every day. Come meet me and see for yourself. Estimated Birthdate: 12/24/20 Likes: Getting my face rubbed and being around humans who care about me. Dislikes: Rough play and not getting treats To schedule a meet/greet with this pawsome kitty, we recommend that you complete a Pre-Adoption Application which is available here: https://www.shelteringhands.org/adoptionapplication. For additional information, email our Adoptions Team at adoptions@shelteringhands.org. Once applications are approved the Adoptions Team will coordinate the best way for you to get your new furry family member and bring them home.
