In the shelter’s words

Please note this dog is NOT an official Underdog dog, and you will be connected with the person who has the dog. Please Contact (Current Owner of Dog): MEET REGIS!! Meet Regis, a happy, affectionate young pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart! At just under 2 years old, Regis is still very much a puppy at heart. He’s playful, curious, and always ready to make you smile with his adorable “always smiling” expression that perfectly matches his joyful personality. Regis truly believes he’s a lap dog and will happily climb right into your lap for snuggles, affection, and quality time with his people. Regis is smart, eager to learn, and full of potential. While he would benefit from continued basic manners training, he is a quick learner who is expected to thrive with consistency, patience, and one-on-one attention. Training has been limited so far simply due to time constraints and the challenge of managing two dogs with very different needs, but given the opportunity to grow in his own environment, Regis is expected to flourish. He loves toys, enjoys exploring, and approaches life with a playful curiosity that makes every day more fun. Regis has all the makings of an amazing “go-anywhere” companion—whether it’s car rides, outdoor adventures, walks around the neighborhood, or relaxing at home, he’ll be happiest right by your side. He is generally quiet and easygoing, only barking occasionally when startled or unsure about something unfamiliar. Like many young dogs, Regis has energy to burn and will do best in a home that can provide regular exercise, enrichment, and positive outlets for his playful spirit. With structure, activity, and love, he is sure to grow into a well-rounded and wonderful companion. Regis was rescued alongside his mom. While the two are bonded and could certainly be adopted together, it’s believed Regis may truly thrive with the opportunity to build confidence independently and receive focused attention and training tailored to his needs. His mom: DAISY #29's web page on Underdog Rescue of Arizona, LLC This sweet, goofy, loving boy is ready for a fresh start with a family who can help him become the incredible companion he’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving dog who will keep you laughing, cuddled, and constantly loved, Regis may just be your perfect match.
