In the shelter’s words
Sterling is an active kitty with a sparkling personality that is usually busy—busy discovering everything life has to offer! She is busy playing, running, climbing, hiding, and racing to get in line for wet food and treats! She would surely enjoy a home of her own with a few toys and a small cat condo. She is also a lover. She likes snuggling in the laps of volunteers, getting gently stroked. She is a happy, fun-loving kitty that is looking for her forever home! Why not complete an application today to make an appointment to meet this great looking kitty? If you are looking for a playful, affectionate kitty, Sterling may just be your perfect match—ready to fill your home with laughter, warmth, and endless purrs. https://animalrefugecenter.com/adoption-application Sterling is FIV positive. FIV in cats is like HIV (the human immunodeficiency virus) and causes a feline disease that is like AIDS in humans. Although FIV is like AIDS in humans it is a highly species-specific virus that infects only felines. While there is currently no definitive cure for FIV in felines, with proper care there is no reason a cat infected with FIV cannot live a very normal, healthy life for years -- if managed appropriately.
